Handcrafted cobwebs add
ominous overtones to Halloween arrangements.
Whatever their composition, spider webs are sure to add
creepy charm to any floral creation, and this technique for
constructing them is quick and easy and allows webs to be made in
advance of the spooky celebration. Create them in multiples, so you
can be ready to add some frightful fun to October arrangements as
needed.
MATERIALS: carnations,
Alstroemerias, Gerberas, asters and lamb’s-ears foliage (Stachys)
from Ascolflores-member farms in Colombia; Flat Black Colortool
Spray and Ultra Leaf Shine from Design Master Color Tool; Oasis®
Hot-Melt Glue Sticks from Oasis® Floral Products; vintage funeral
basket from antique store.
