Electrical tape easily adds a
peppermint twist to a basic bud vase design
Evoking a purely Christmas sentiment, this easy-to-assemble bud vase
design features swirls of electrical tape wrapped to look like
peppermint sticks. The white roses and snowberries (Symphoricarpos)
nestled among cedar provide the most traditional of colors for the
holiday, and the special candylike treatment gives the overall design a
look that is both nostalgic and modern. This affordable yet highly
festive design is sure to cause a twinkle in all of your customers'
eyes. In addition to the bud vase and wooden dowels shown here,
electrical tape can be used on a multitude of other containers and
props, offering a creative look for many styles of arrangements.
MATERIALS: Milk Jug Bouquet Vase from Syndicate Sales;
snowberries from California cut flower grower; cedar from Hiawatha
Corporation; wired wood pick
from W.J. Cowee; roses, electrical tape and dowels
from favorite suppliers.
