Best Bouquets

      This haute-Halloween-themed wedding featured a traditional color scheme of black and orange along with citron green. The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of 20 orange Dutch tulips, orange-dyed billy buttons (Craspedia), Alstroemerias, Crocosmia and safflowers (Carthamus) wrapped with green satin ribbon and finished with a black pin-head stem decoration. Her five bridesmaids’ bouquets also were hand-tied and comprised a monochromatic green mix of Hydrangeas, Hypericum, seeded Eucalyptus and millet.

     Distinctive boutonnieres, which the florist labeled for a professional presentation, perfectly complemented the bouquets.
 

  
 

Best Cake Decorations

     Combining the bride’s desire for the striking color mix of deep red and lime green with a bit of an exotic feel, this confectionary display took the cake. The staggered square tiers were adorned with ‘Black Magic’ and ‘Black Beauty’ roses, green Hydrangeas and green Cymbidium orchids. Additional Cymbidium orchids and giant Monstera leaves at the uplifted base enhanced the tropical touch and carried the botanicals throughout the cake table.
