incredible cakes
Flowers, ribbon and a multi-tiered riser transform a simple cake
into a grand confection.

In today’s market, service and value are
more than buzz words; instead, they’re two important
hallmarks of businesses that attract and keep customers,
even when capital is tight. One way to provide both service and
value to wedding clients is by creating beauty on a budget.
Take this modest cake, for example. It’s trimmed with
beautiful sheer ribbon and presented with several small
arrangements on an easy-assembly riser, transforming the basic,
undecorated dessert into a stunning showpiece. The riser, with
four tiers that can be either flat pedestals or bowls to hold
flowers and foam or traditional reception fare (such as nuts and
mints), can be customized for a variety of presentations.
Consider supplementing your rental lineup with a few
items that can add value for minimal cost. Providing customers
with a multitude of options, whatever the budget, is a valuable
service that couples will appreciate. |

HOW TO
1:
Determine the height at which you want the cake to sit. Then
determine the heights at which the flowers should be positioned. Cut
poles as needed for desired heights. |
|
HOW TO
2:
Top the cake’s pole with a pedestal (an inverted bowl),
and position the cake atop the pedestal. Top the remaining poles
with foam-filled bowls. |
|
HOW TO
3:
Trim the cake with ribbon, which will adhere easily to
most types of icing. Arrange florals into the bowls of saturated
foam, and top the cake with a small orb of flower-filled foam. |
