wedding bouquet

verdant posy
This monochromatic bouquet is
perfect for modern brides and bridesmaids alike.
Green has emerged as one of the most popular colors for contemporary
weddings, giving a natural, botanical feeling to settings from gardeny
to glamorous. This bouquet, at a glance, makes it difficult to
distinguish the flowers from the foliages. All are arranged among one
another, with a “rose” created from Algerian ivy (Hedera canariensis) as
the focal point. Variegated Aspidistra leaves and oregonia add creamy
highlights to the bouquet, and young Queen Anne’s lace (Ammi) adds
texture with its fluffy white tips. Swirls of lily grass (Liriope) lend
motion to the design.
The materials are arranged into a straight-handle bouquet holder, which
is dropped into a decorative holder. The patterned fabric that covers
the decorative holder brings the shades of green right down to the tip
of the composition, giving it a tailored look.
MATERIALS: FloraShapes® Bridal Bouquet Holder from Floralife;
Posy Pocket® from Cameo MacGuffin; Square Vase from Syndicate Sales;
Floratape® from Alcan Packaging; Algerian ivy, ‘Kermit’ spray
chrysanthemums, Queen Anne’s lace, lily grass, oregonia, Aspidistra
leaves and Pittosporum from favorite suppliers.
