wedding bouquet
pink
persuasion
A combination of blooms and
buds enhances the natural look of this glorious monochromatic hand-tied
bouquet.
Vibrant pink- and fuchsia-colored blooms burst from the center of a
collar of Magnolia leaves in this stylish hand-tied bouquet, which is
sure to stand out against the backdrop of a bridal gown or a trendy
bridesmaid dress. Some of the roses are in bud form or just beginning to
bloom, their green buds providing dimension and complementary accents
among the monochromatic roses and callas.
Once the flowers are arranged in a spiral hand-tied manner and the stems
bound with waterproof tape, the collar of Magnolia leaves is fashioned
around the underside of the bouquet, covering the binding point. The
leaves are secured with waterproof tape, with their suedelike backsides
facing upward, contributing an earthy brown color to the composition.
Coordinating sheer pink ribbon provides a soft finishing touch.
MATERIALS: ‘Mystery’ and ‘Purple Sensation’ roses, ‘Gem’
miniature callas (Zantedeschia) and Magnolia leaves from California cut
flower growers; ribbon from favorite supplier.
