But it’s the details that give this hand-tied bouquet its spunky personality. The flowers’ stems, which also include those of sweet Williams (Dianthus), are wrapped with flirty fuchsia-colored wired ribbon. Another length of ribbon is scrunched to create a fashionable ruche treatment, which is secured with matching pearl-headed corsage pins. A collar fashioned from bay leaves complements the pink flowers and ribbon treatment and adds further detail and dimension. To create the collar, a garland is constructed by winding wire around each leaf’s stem. The garland enwraps the bouquet several times.
