regal roses

Learn this easy technique for creating sublime topiaries in a snap.
A classic urn and a lush array of elegant garden roses combine to make this stately topiary able to meet a variety of fresh décor needs. The colorful collection of blossoms, accented by a few Heuchera leaves, are arranged into a straight-handled bouquet holder, which is inserted into a sturdy column of pussy willow branches. Suggest topiaries for events where guests will be mingling, because they add height, as well as sitting, because they won't obstruct views.
MATERIALS: ‘Fiction’, ‘Piano’, ‘Freee’, ‘Wanted’, ‘Baroness’, ‘Mariatheresia’ and ‘Caramel Antike’ garden roses from Asocolflores-member farms in Colombia; Heuchera foliage, pussy willows and enameled wire from favorite suppliers; container from private collection; Oasis® Wedding Belle® Bouquet Holder from Smithers-Oasis; Atlantic Brand® Stem Wrap from Milton Adler Company.
