fresh and faux
Permanent foliages cover a container and help showcase fresh-cut fare.
Large leaves are hot sellers among fresh-botanicals buyers, and using them as organic cover-ups atop basic vessels is a steadily growing trend. One problem, however, is that many foliages require hydration to look their freshest, but placing leaf-covered arrangements in trays of water can pose multiple problems. So a vessel covered with permanent foliages is a terrific low-maintenance solution—and the leafy vase adornments can be completed at any time, so you’re always prepared to drop in a fresh collection of seasonal blossoms. ■
