pleated cheetah

A luxurious pleated collar adds a playful yet dramatic accent to this alluring arrangement. Creamy ‘Sahara’ roses punctuate the darker-toned botanicals, creating eye-catching contrast.

MATERIALS: ‘Sahara’ roses from Eufloria Flowers; ‘Nikita’ spray roses from favorite suppliers; smoke bush (Cotinus) from The Sun Valley Group; cheetah-print ribbon and black velvet ribbon from Offray; Hurricane Vase and Wrapsit Floral Ties from Syndicate Sales.

sexy stripes

Black, white and red are a classic color combination, but this dozen-rose alternative takes a walk on the wild side with zebra-print ribbon. In addition to accenting the container into which the crimson roses and variegated miniature Pittosporum are arranged, the ribbon is used to create additional “foliage.” Corsage leaves provide stable backing for the ribbon, which is attached with spray adhesive and cut to follow the leaf shapes.

MATERIALS: ‘Bull’s Eye’ roses from Eufloria Flowers; kohuhu (Pittosporum) and corsage leaves from favorite suppliers; Zebra velvet ribbon from Reliant Ribbon Corp.; High Boy Contemporary Container from Vacuum Orna-Metal.
