BLOOMNET “PARTNERS” WITH UBER’S NEW DELIVERY SERVICE

sf-sliders-uberrushOn Oct. 14, on-demand ride provider, Uber, launched an on-demand delivery service, UberRUSH, in New York City, Chicago and San Francisco, and BloomNet has signed on as a “business platform partner.”

UberRUSH partners with local businesses to provide delivery of their products to consumers — “in minutes,” the company states in a recent blog post.

With UberRUSH, businesses of all kinds in the three premiere markets — from restaurants to jewelers to dress shops and everything in between — can now offer delivery service. And florists, who have always provided same-day delivery, can use UberRUSH to handle overflow deliveries during busy times or even timed deliveries, if their drivers are busy on regular schedules and routes.
