Blooming Confections Wedding CakeDiscover a creative new way to decorate a wedding cake with flowers.

To arrange flowers onto a cake without contaminating it, create flower arrangement “bases” from white or brown bakers chocolate to serve as barriers between the cake and the botanicals.

Melt a small piece of chocolate on waxed paper to a moderate softness, and arrange flowers — even heavier flowers such as Hydrangeas, peonies and roses — into the semimelted chocolate. Package the arrangement(s), and place it/ them into a floral cooler until delivery time.
